Today's mani is inspired by an outfit I plan to wear to work tomorrow...coral and khaki.  I recently purchased some really colorful coral dress pants from New York & Company and a shirt to match; coral with khaki and white stripes.  I really love coral and when paired with the khaki color it just makes the coral pop even more.  Both colors used today are recent purchases, Tangerine Dream by Nina Ultra Pro and Go with the Flow-er by Flower.

Unfortunately I do not have photos of my nails without the design...I was trying to help my sister-in-law with a website over the phone while doing my nails and I completely forgot.  But I did record the polish application and the video will be posted on YouTube soon.

Here's what I used:

Base coat: Yellow Buster by Develop 10
Base color:  Tangerine Dream by Nina Ultra Pro (coral)
Accent color: Go with the Flow-er By Flower (Khaki)
Top coat 1: Seche Vite - I apply this before stamping, if I mess up I can remove the design without removing the base color
Stamp colors: Go with the Flow-er, Orange Pearl by Konad
Top coat 2: Seche Ultra-V cured under a 54 watt UV lamp for 5 minutes

Tangerine Dream is the beautiful coral color.  The formula is a mix between and creme and a jelly; it is thick and fluid at the same time and has a high gloss shine and appearance of a jelly.  Beautiful color, but it is streaky and patchy so 2 coats are required.  Even if it wasn't streaky and patchy, 2 coats would still be required because it is fairly translucent as are most jelly formulas.  But the formula applies really smooth.

I really love Go with the Flow-er, a much better formula than the previous color I used by Flower, Thistle or That?.  I am extremely pleased with this formula, the application was pretty smooth and opaque.  Its a very fluid formula, which makes it easier to work with and smooth it out.

As you can see in the pics, there is another color stamped underneath Go with the Flow-er; I had originally stamped the design with Cherubic by Color Club from the Halo Hues 2013 collection, but it was barely visible over the coral color.  I thought I would be able to easily stamp over it, but as you ca see it looks a little messy.
