For today's mani I decided to use two colors to coordinate with the outfit I plan to wear for pictures I am taking with my niece this weekend; we will be wearing jeans and yellow tops.  My base color is a metallic navy blue with gold and blue shimmer and my design is stamped in yellow.  I applied the base color on all nails, but as an accent I stamped a different design on the ring fingers.

Here's what I used:
  • Base coat: Seche Recondition
  • Base color 1: Midnight Magic by Covergirl Outlast
  • Stamp colors: Yellow by Konad
  • Top coat 2: Seche Ultra-V cured under a 54 watt UV lamp for 5 minutes
  • IP: Dashica Beauty Shop Big SdP J
  • Accent Nail IPs: Konad  M46 & Red Angel 115

This mani was sort of frustrating today and forgot to take pics of the base color before stamping the design.

I must say, I really like Midnight Magic by Covergirl.  This polish is from the Outlast collection and it has the base and top coat built into it.  But because it is just unnatural to me to not apply a base and top coat and because of the stamping, I did apply both.  In addition to having the base and top coat built in, it is supposed to be long wearing.  I will be out of town Thursday - Sunday, so I will not be changing my mani until I get back (hopefully), so we will see how well this polish hold up.  The formula is really great, it applies well but requires 2 coats for maximum opacity.  If you apply really thin coats you will probably need 3 coats and should not polish over the same spot twice.  This is not an issue if you do not apply very thin coats.  On Sunday I will post an update about how well this polish holds up.

On my accent nail, I stamped angel wings in white, and the initials "D" and "N" in yellow.
