Since today is St. Patrick's Day, of course I used green polish and a four leaf  clover design.  This mani is slightly different than usual, both hands are painted exactly the same.  And that is due to the transparency of the two polishes I used today.  My thumb, index and middle fingers are painted with Irish Green by Sinful Colors; and my ring and pinky fingers are painted with Lime Green Zest by NanaCoco.

Over Irish Green I stamped with Konad White and over Lime Green Zest I stamped with Konad Green.

Here's what I used:
  • Base coat: Seche Recondition
  • Base color 1: Irish Green by Sinful Colors (darker green)
  • Base color 2: Lime Green Zest by NanaCoco (brighter green)
  • Top coat 1: Seche Vite - I apply this before stamping, if I mess up Ican remove the design without removing the base color
  • Stamp colors: White & Green by Konad
  • Top coat 2: Seche Ultra-V cured under a 54 watt UV lamp for 5 minutes
  • IP: Dashica Beauty Shop Big SdP K

Both polishes I used today are jelly formulas; meaning very transparent but look great because they look like jelly beans.  If you are someone who like your polish to be opaque, jelly formulas are not for you, as you would have to use about 5-6 coats for them to be opaque.  With 2 and 3 coats you can still clearly see the white of the tips of your nail very clearly.  I only used 2 coats of Irish green, but the 2nd coat was pretty thick.  For Lime Green Zest I used 3 coats and 2 coats were pretty thick, but because it's a lighter shade that still was not enough.  I just didn't want to apply so many coats, and since I was stamping a design over it, it didn't make sense to even attempt so many coats.  Also, when applying this  polish, if you polish over the same spot more than once, that area just get sheerer with every brush stroke.  When I use these 2 colors again, it will be strictly as an accent nail and only on one nail!!
