I am absolutely loving my current mani!! It's simple, but I'm loving it and of course it has green.  I created an alternating mani with two very pretty opalescent polishes; green and lilac with green shimmer/duo-chrome. The design I chose is very simple, and one that allows the base colors to be clearly seen...since I love both colors.  I chose to stamp the design in black, to make the colors pop.

Here's what I used:

  • Base coat: +Julep Maven Oxygen Nail Treatment
  • Base color 1: Lime Time by NanaCoco
  • Base color 2: Significant Other Color by +OPI Inc
  • Top coat 1: Seche Vite Top Coat - I apply this before stamping, if I mess up I can remove the design without removing the base color
  • Stamp colors: Black Pearl by Konad
  • Top coat 2: IBD UV Top Coat cured under a 54 watt UV lamp for 3 minutes
  • IP: Dashica Beauty Shop - Big SdP X

Lime Time by NanaCoco is a gorgeous, opalescent metallic-like bright green polish.  And I am absolutely loving it and the brand NanaCoco overall.  I am so glad that I was able to find the brand locally, from the Classic Color set for only $0.99/bottle.  It applies perfectly, has a great formula and almost completely opaque in 1 coat.  I did apply 2 coats for this mani, but I could have just applied 1 since I stamped a design.  I also love the size of the NanaCoco brushes, great if you have wide nail beds.  I highly recommend that if you come across this brand, pick some up, you will not regret it.

Significant Other Color by OPI, is just as gorgeous as Lime Time.  It is a beautiful shimmery, opalescent metallic-like lilac polish with a green duo-chrome effect.  The green duo-chrome effect is why I paired these two colors together...and it works.  The brush is wide, and just perfect.  the formula is fab, while not opaque in 1 or 2 coats, the application is great.  For full opacity, 3 coats are best.  Or you can apply a sheer-pink or peach nude polish as your base to make the color more opaque.  You don't actually need it to be a pink or peach nude, but a nude color that's similar the color you want to make more opaque.  I only applied 2 coats of this polish, but used the pink sheer Julep Maven Oxygen Nail Treatment as my base coat, so it helped with opacity.  I also recommend this polish.
