I'm kicking off my Halloween manis from now until the end of the month. I have quite a few Halloween themed designs and since I don't generally use these fun & playful designs, I figured this would be the perfect time to start.
Polish Review & Application video:
Since its a Halloween themed mani I had to start off using orange with the designs stamped in black...very simple. And for my accent nail, my middle finger, I decided to apply crackle polish. I've had crackle polish for a while but due to my love for stamping I've just never used it. My goal was to layer 2 crackle polishes over one another, but my China Glaze crackle polish did NOT crack at all. The Pure Ice crackle polish cracked perfectly.
Here's what I used:
- Base coat: Rejuvicote by Duri
- Base color: Marjorie by +Julep Maven
- Top coat 1: Miracoate by Duri Fast drying Top Coat - I apply this before stamping, if I mess up I can remove the design without removing the base color
- Stamp colors: Black Gold by Konad
- Top coat 2: IBD UV Top Coat cured under a 54 watt UV lamp for 5 minutes
- IP: Dashica Beauty Shop Big SdP N
