Have you heard about the Nail Art Society monthly subscription box? If not, here's some info.
This is my 4th box and probably my favorite of all so far. I like the subscription but it does have its pitfalls...for me anyway. I liked some of the items in my October box, but wasn't like head over heels thrilled about it. I honestly have to say the box is kind of hit or miss depending upon if your just getting into nail art or if you have been doing it for a while. If you are new to nail art, this is perfect for you; as it will allow you to build up your collection of nail art items at a very low price. The kits contain a variety of products: nail polish, striping polish, nail charms, nail stickers & water decals, rhinestones & studs and even implements/tools. If you have been into nail art and have accumulated a lot of nail art items you may want to skip this subscription.
I will say, the last two boxes have been better than the first two (to me anyway) because they provided some items I didn't have and from brands that are not readily available...which I like. I do not want to get products that I can go buy at Sally Beauty or Walmart. So far the kits seem to be getting better, but we will see if they keep it up.
Here are the specs:
- $11.95/ month plus $3.95 shipping
- Automatic monthly renewal
- You have to call to skip/cancel next months kit or subscription
- Bags/kits are shipped at the end of the month...so you don't receive them until the next month (i.e. hence my November unboxing in December)
- It's not a customized service; everyone pretty much gets the same items although colors may vary
- You can purchase additional kits or individual times from each kit...members get 20% off
- NAS sends out sneak peek emails if you are subscribed to their newsletter
